Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981 and has been a board member of the SSC's Board of Directors since 2011 she was one of the original co-artistic directors for Speech of Fire. She also served as a member of the SSC as producer, costume/set design composer/music director and as a text coach in addition to serving as Artistic Director. Although she was usually the head of her group Her first directorial role was in SSC King Lear.
