Aisha Hinds is an American actress best famous for her role in the television shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her first appearance in 2003 she has demonstrated her range in acting providing outstanding performances on television shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7 and Under the Dome. She was first noticed in 2005 when she played her role as Anna, as seen on Assault on Precinct 13 However, it was her performance of the feminist Fannie Louis Hamer from the documentary film All the Way, which gave her the respect she deserved as an actress. Hind was also praised for her performance as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's period television drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. The show was renewed for a third series with 20th Century Fox Television. Hind was recently finished filming for the Hollywood feature Godzilla: King of the Monsters. It is set to be released around the middle of 2019. Her birthplace was in Mangalore, in India. His father Krishnaraj worked as an Army scientist. He died on 18 March 2017. Mother Vrinda works at home. Aditya is her elder brother and a merchant naval engineer. Her older brother, Aditya Rai coproduced and cowrote Dil Ka Rishta along with their mother. Bachchan's heartbreaking portrayal of Paro the love interest who got married in Devdas (2002) which was one of the most well-known Bollywood films at that time. Its premiere at Cannes Film Festival cemented her as the queen of Bollywood. In the following years the film, she was recognized for her role as Chokher Bal (2003), an intense drama based off Rabindranathtagore's novel. That same year, she was appointed as the first Indian actor on the Cannes Film Festival Jury. Bachchan was in Gurinder Chadha's Bride and Prejudice a musical and dance adaptation from Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Bachchan brought both her star-power and beauty to her first major English film. Following the release of Provoked the a True Story in English, she went back to Bollywood and appeared in the big-budget Dhoom: 2 (2007). In April 2007 she married Abhishek Bachchan, a regular co-star as well as the son of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan in a marriage that reunited two of India's most powerful actors.
