Andressa Urach

Andressa first began to date Tiago when she was 15 years old. Following three months being together, they went to live together in the same house. The couple had an only child named Arthur Urach Costa born on May 19th, 2005. Following disagreements over marriage, they separated in 2008 after 6 years of marriage. Andressa went to the home of her mother along with her son. In six months, Andressa Urach was fired and left her son in the care of his father. Her main goal was to live a happier life within Sao Paulo. Andressa Urach writes in her memoir Morri Para Viver about the sexual abuse she suffered by her foster father which occurred between the ages between 2 and 8. Andressa has been able to overcome these problems because Andressa's foster grandmother was able to witness the abuse and re-admitted her at her house. The mother of the child was not aware of her abuse until Andressa published the book. Interviews with the woman showed that the task was unattainable for her prior to her change of heart. To forgive her victim was something she believed to be unattainable. One of the hardest decision I've made in my life was to contact the person who was sexually abusive. This wasn't easy to do. After several prayer and fasting vows, i called me to tell him I'd forgiven him and I even asked forgiveness. I didn't justify myself I just asked for forgiveness. In an interview with Globo Mariste Urach tells how she felt when she found out about the abuse suffered by her son. The mother traveled to Rio Grande do Sul's interior to find the culprit and take vengeance.
