Angie Harmon (born Angie Harmon) is an American actor and model who has been featured on a variety of television series and films over the last couple of years. She started out as a popular model, prior to moving to acting. She began her acting career on the TV show "Baywatch Nights" which premiered in 1995. In addition, she voice-acts and was the voice of the animated film "Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker". In the early 2000, Harmon made the decision to concentrate on films and quit working in TV series. Harmon returned to television after appearing in a few films. The year 2008 was the time she became one of the only actresses to pose discreetly nude in the magazine 'Allure.' Her main work is in the role of the detective Jane Rizzoli on TNT series 'Rizzoli & Isles'. Her character as a detective was well-respected and she won several prizes. Angie Harmon is nominated and awarded for outstanding work.
